Julie is a member of the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Greater Orlando Society for Human Resource Management.  Julie is also a Best Friends Animal Sanctuary Guardian Angel, member of the Humane Society of the United States, member of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and supports several local rescues including the SPCA of Central Florida and Candy’s Cats Inc.

Julie earned her Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida.  She was a member of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Treasurer of the Students of eLaw.  Julie earned her undergraduate degree at The Kent State University in Kent, Ohio where she was appointed as a student member of the Kent State Board of Trustees by the Governor of Ohio.

Julie is very committed to the community and served for two years as the President and one year as Director of her Home Owner’s Association.  In recognition of her hard work serving her HOA she was a recipient of the 2002 Orange County Excellence in Leadership award presented by the Orange County Chairman Rich Crotty.  Julie also worked diligently on projects to help children as a former member of the Kiwanis Club of Central Florida and continues her commitment to community through initiatives through the Orange County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and several forms of Animal Advocacy.
